Joint Sea Patrrolling
- The Joint Coastal Patrolling (JCP) also known as Joint Sea Patrolling (JSP) was started in 1993 in the backdrop of the Mumbai Serial Bomb Blasts as a temporary measure for the security of the coast line of Maharashtra till the Coastal Security Scheme was fully implemented. As per the decision in the Apex Coordination Committee on Coastal Security Scheme meeting held on 17.8.1993 and chaired by The Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra.
- Joint Sea Patrolling with JSP team consisting of eight personnel i.e. One PSI and 3 Armed Police Constables from Maharashtra Police, 2 Naval Personnel and 2 Customs Personnel including Customs Inspector
- The Customs Inspector will be overall in charge of the trawler and each such team.
